The State Fair 09

Well we all did the last fun outting of the summer but in Alaska it actually takes place in the fall because August up here is the start of Fall. We attended the state fair. This year at the fair there was a world record set with the largest cabbage the last one this big was back in 1989 in the united kingdom someone had a cabbage 124 lbs. The cabbage weighs 125 lbs then the same farmer brought in another cabbage from his farm it weighed 127 lbs. The other world record was a rutabaga which was 82 lbs. They grow them big in Alaska. It is because this summer was so sunny and warm. The kids had fun we did rides, ate nachos, and went into a cool lizard and reptile exhibit.
